im trying to help a person whos Grandmother born 191x in Piesk, Belarus - to find any documentation
She went to Palestine (before 1948)

Also aleged "cousin" who is documented - citizenship request to the British Mandate 1935 - to be born 1905
in Malkiewicze, Piesk, VOLKOVYSK
both had left few pages of testimony per their families in Poland/Belarus who parished in the Holucaust,

Please advise how can we get some more details - civil records/registrations

Хочу помочь человеку, чья бабушка родилась в Песках, Белоруссия в поиске документов.
Она приехала в Палестину до 1948г.
Также указана двоюродная сестра, подавшая заявление на жительство во времена Британского мандата, в 1935 году.
Она родилась в Мальковичах, Пески, Волковыск
Обе оставили в яд-ва-шем несколько листов памяти о своих родственниках, погибших в холокост в Польше/Белоруссии
Подскажите пожалуйста, как можно найти МК и листы переписи по этим местам?

Hello Zvika,
I faced some problems, translating your text into Russian. I cannot recognise geographical places You wrote, for sure.
It will be better if You will give a link to the lists on Yad-va-Shem, citizenship request (on the site of Jerusalem archive? or Syonist archive?).
Or documents themselves.
Have You tried to find info about the family on jewishgen?
And, for sure, we need names and family names in Russian if You want we'll help You with the sources in Russian

Речь идет, конечно, о Песковской волости (от "Пески") Волковыского уезда Гродненской губернии. Село (или деревня, не помню) - Мальковичи, сейчас - в Мостовском районе Гродненской области Беларуси. Еврейские метрические книги за начало 20 века не сохранились ни по одному из населенный пунктов Волковыского уезда.

Такой мерзкой статьи в Википедии никогда не читал. 8 мирных жителей отдельно от не мирных 2 тысяч
еврейских женщин,стариков и детей.

I include here what I have:
citizenship request - its half hebrew and half english - but all details are in both lang

the place name is there - but Piesk and Volkovsk is written hebrew

this is Belarus - former Poland

under JG there are NO Karolin records, I found some people who are registered to research Karolin and approched them as well, for now no progress

the names we are looking for are : Josel / Josef KAROLIN (B 1905, Malkewicze) and Yafa (or such) MALKEWITZKY (B 191x, Piesk)

Attached the tree we could build from the YadVashem pages - given by the 2 persons mentioned
we are looking for any connections between them
the only connection for now is that the birth place of Josel is the Surename of Yafa...

these are 13 km apart, 150 km east of Bialistok, 195 KM West of Minsk, 73 KM south east of Hridna
based on these places - can you advise how we can get civil records for 1905 or so?

civil records for 1905 or so

There were no civil records in the Russian Empire, only denominational records. Jewish records for this area have been lost.
